The Grade 2 $500,000 Louisiana Downs Super Derby odds for the September 10, 2011 race were available at TwinSpires.com, legally licensed in the United States to offer online betting – owned by Churchill Downs (claim your free $100 here).

Prayer for Relief is coming in as the favorite for Saturday’s Super Derby at 9/5 odds.  He is unbeaten at 3 and on dirt.  Prayer for Relief is looking for his fourth consecutive win.

Alteration, who will be ridden by Ramon Dominguez, also has a nice shot at 3/1 odds.

“I think most of the races he’s won, they’ve had probably just pretty average fractions in them,” Alternation’s trainer, Donnie Von Hemel, told the Daily Racing Form. “In the Peter Pan, he wasn’t that far back, either. So hopefully he’ll leave there good enough [for Dominguez] to be able to place him where he needs to be, dependent on pace.”

This race will take place in Southern California.
