Arsène Wenger is awaiting the results of Thierry Henry’s scan to determine whether he will play this coming Sunday 22 January against Manchester United.  The Frenchman reportedly suffered a calf injury during practice this week.

Currently, Man United was at 6/4 odds, Arsenal at 9/4, the draw at 7/4.  United was getting just over 65 percent of the betting action.   These odds are likely to fluctuate wildly as the matchup approaches based on Henry’s status.

Arsenal enjoy a record of 3 wins out of the last 5 Premier League games between these two sides at the Emirates.  United humiliated Arsenal 8-2 the last time these two sides met back in August.

Meanwhile, Wenger is under fire for a decision not to make any changes to his squad during the January transfer window.
