Time Form – “Dark Matter is the pick on form based on his win in a handicap off a mark of 110 last time but he didnt have much to spare when beating several of these prior to that and he is passed over in favour of Kinglet who forfeited plenty of ground that day and did very well to finish so close. Rassam could also reverse form having been too keen on what was just his second start.”

Sporting Life – “Rassam started odds-on after his debut success at Kempton and Frankie made plenty of use of him so he may be ridden with more restraint this time and will probably start at short odds again. That race was over 7f and Dark Matter battled back in the style of a horse who will like the extra furlong. He's won a handicap subsequently and will take some beating but Kinglet should have his measure this time as Mickael Barzalona must have thought he was on Pour Moi as he was a very long way behind for most of the race before finishing strongly.”
