4th Arrest Made in Shooting Death at Brampton, Ontario Poker Tournament

A 4th individual has been arrested exactly one year after the shooting death of Kearn Nedd, 28, who was competing in a poker tournament at a Brampton, Ontario banquet hall. 

Nedd attempted to stop two armed robbers who had entered the hall on Monday, April 16, 2011.  The suspects shot him and left the scene. 

Brian Funes, 25, is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Early this year, police charged Samir Abdelgadir, 30, with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Kmar Kelly, 21, and a 15-year-old boy have been charged with second-degree murder.

Police expect to make further arrests in the case.
