I’ll Have Another Kentucky Derby odds were coming in at 12-1 at Sportsbook whereas they should be 20-1 or longer.

Sure he’s consistent with only one poor prep race performance.

Following a six-month layoff, I’ll Have Another managed an upset at the Grade 2 Robert B. Lewis, winning by 2 3/4 lengths at 43-1 oddds, then followed up nine weeks later in the Santa Anita Derby with another top performance.

The problem, he’ll be coming into this race with little rest.

Worse still, he was unfortunate to receive the worst post position, number 19, a post position that has never produced a winner in the Kentucky Derby.

As if that weren’t bad enough, I’ll Have Another’s only poor performance was on the mud and rain could impact Saturday’s Derby.

Did we mention he was getting shock therapy?

We encourage you to bet on the 2012 Kentucky Derby…just not on I’ll Have Another.
