Odds on Bodemeister, I’ll Have Another Not Winning the 2012 Preakness

You can also bet on either Bodemeister or I’ll Have Another winning at slightly shorter odds, though the risk is relatively nominal

BetOnline was offering odds on Bodemeister or I’ll Have Another not winning the 2012 Preakness Stakes by essentially listing any other horse with +145 odds should they win.  The payout would be $14.50 for every $10 bet.

While most experts feel confident that this year’s Preakness will be a showdown between these two horses, we all know too well that anything is possible, especially with neither Bodemeister or I’ll Have Another being especially dominant.

This is not a bad wager in that, should any of the nine other contenders end up winning, your bet pays off as well

As of Saturday morning there were two other horses, Creative Cause and Went The Day Well, listed with single digit odds of winning the Preakness Stakes.

There were a handful of entries that may end up surprising.

Alas, those of us here at Gambling911.com still believe Bodemeister or I’ll Have Another win this race.  The odds on one or the other were set at -185, requiring an $18.50 bet to win $10 (the $18.50 is refunded should either win).  This is not a bad bet either.  It’s like adding insurance since this looks to be a toss up between the two contenders.
