As Internet-gambling legislation struggles to gain traction at the federal level and several states debate their own i-gaming measures, prospective operators and regulators are left to wonder how, when and to what extent this highly anticipated activity will roll out. Five experts will offer their answers in a special panel discussion at the 8th Florida Gaming Congress, to be held February 25-26, 2013, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

Speakers on the panel titled "Internet Gaming in the US" include the following:

  • Leo DiBenigno, Managing Partner, Corvara Consulting LLC and former Secretary of the Florida Lottery
  • Mark Hichar, Attorney, Joins Hinckley, Allen & Snyder
  • Laurie Itkin, Founder, Rouge Government & Public Affairs
  • Robert Smith, Chairman Pala Band of Luiseno Indians; Chairman CA Tribal Business Alliance
  • Jennifer Webb, Regulatory and Legislative Manager, Americas, Gambling Compliance

"This will be a diverse panel featuring expert insights on i-gaming from the legal, lottery, government policy, gaming media, and tribal gaming perspectives. Our panel promises to offer a lively and well-rounded discussion on a variety of current topics in the field of Internet gaming, both for Florida and nationwide," said panel moderator Eugene Johnson, Senior Vice President of conference organizer Spectrum Gaming Group.

The Florida Gaming Congress also features four other outstanding panel discussions, including Destination Florida?, The Future of Racetrack Gaming, The View from Wall Street, and Gaming and Public Policy.

In addition to two keynote addresses, the Florida Gaming Congress includes a welcome reception that affords the hundreds of attendees excellent networking opportunities.

What Are the Payout Odds If Tim Tszyu Wins vs. Errol Spence Jr.?
