Dwyane Wade Baby Momma Drama, Gabrielle Union and the Heat Odds

Controversy involving a sports team’s top player will more times than not result in that particular team playing below par.  The same could hold true this week with the Dwyane Wade baby momma drama and all the news surfacing over his apparent “non-break up” with girlfriend Gabrielle Union.

Wade’s baby was conceived by another woman, Aja Metoyer, at a time when he and Union supposedly ended their romance, if just briefly.

TMZ.com has since released photos of Wade and Union posting Instagram photos during this “time off period”, at the same time Wade was getting some other woman pregnant.

"Doesn't seem like a couple on a break …", TMZ.com suggests.

Make no mistake about it, these reports will likely prove to be a big enough distraction for Dwyane Wade and his team.

The good news for Miami is that they are off New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.  The Heat will host Golden State at home Thursday night.

The bad news is this story is gaining steam and will possibly be on the verge of exploding come Thursday Game Day.

The line on this game should be -4.5 to -5. Watch if the oddsmakers shade this one down a point or two.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
