The grade II event open to three-year-olds willing to race one and one-sixteenth miles on the dirt, it offers a purse of $400,000.  It will take place at Gulf Stream Park in sunny South Florida.

This race is an important prep for the upcoming Kentucky Derby and in fact has resulted in three winners going on to win both the Derby and Preakness and another winning the Derby and Belmont Stakes.

There are two co-favorites to win this year’s Fountain of Youth: Commissioner and Top Billing, both at just shy of 2/1 odds.
