Tapiture Odds Slashed to 15-1 From 25-1: 2014 Kentucky Derby

Tapiture saw his odds cut from 25-1 to 15-1 Wednesday immediately following the post position draw.  Betting online was available from BetOnline, which is offering a 7% rebate on losses and up to $1000 in FREE BETS for qualified users.

The dramatic change in odds appeared to have little to do with the post position draw since Tapiture will be starting from the 15 post, a number that has yielded only three winners since 1930.

This is still a 15-1 long shot that has performed well in Churchill Downs juvenile races and won the G3-Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn.   Tapiture also finished a respectable 2^nd at the Rebel Stakes.  He did not fare as well at this year’s Arkansas Derby, however.  This was his last race and finished 4^th.
