The payout odds on Keen Ice to win the 2015 Breeders Cup Classic midweek were set at 12-1.
This is the same Keen Ice that upset Triple Crown winner American Pharoah in the Travers so he cannot be underestimated here.
Keen Ice trainer Dale Roman called it his biggest victory ever, and he’s had plenty of them.
"I've won the Dubai World Cup, three Breeders' Cup races, 30-something Grade I's, all fabulous races," Romans said. "Hopefully, I'll win those races again, but it had been 40 years since a Triple Crown winner had gotten beat. At Saratoga, that was history, by far the biggest victory of my career."
Since June, Keen Ice has finished in the top three in all three of his races.
