The Clonmel 14:55 betting odds for Vroum Vroum Mag were set at an impressive 1/5, making her almost a rock solid guarantee to win. Emcon had the next shortest odds at 9/1.
“I know Vroum Vroum Mag is short in the betting for the Hennessy Gold Cup, but she will run on Thursday at Clonmel as the conditions there suit her,” said Walsh.
“Hopefully she’ll be ready to run and is in good form. It may be too soon to run in the Hennessy after that,” jockey Ruby Walsh said of the 6-year-old mare who makes her seasonal debut Thursday. “She has summered really well and it looks an ideal starting point for her.”
