The National Enquirer claims to have photos of John Edwards love child. He is coddling, nurturing the new born in the photos with a headline that reads "The Photos Everybody Has Been Waiting For"

Edwards - on the short list for Democratic US Vice President and a Presidential candidate at one time himself - has been linked to one Rielle Hunter (aka Lisa Druck).

In December, the National Enquirer proclaimed "The woman linked to Presidential candidate John Edwards in a cheating scandal is more than six months pregnant and telling a close confidante that Edwards is the father of her unborn child, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

"The NATIONAL ENQUIRER's political bombshell comes just weeks after Edwards emphatically denied having an affair with Rielle Hunter, who formerly worked on his campaign."

On Wednesday, that same tabloid released what will likely become an infamous photo of John Edwards supposed "love child".

The stunning "spy photo" shows the former presidential contender holding his infant daughter Frances Quinn Hunter at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles - where the ENQUIRER caught him visiting the baby's mother, his mistress Rielle Hunter.

Edwards is holding his love child while standing in front of a distinctive striped curtain.

Edwards continues to deny having an affair with Hunter or fathering her child.

John Edwards has been reduced to +1000 (or 10/1) odds of being named the Democratic running mate to Senator Barack Obama at Sportsbook.com
