Mine That Bird was still listed with +350 odds to win the 2009 Preakness Stakes this coming Saturday even after his shocking upset at this year's Kentucky Derby.

He worked a half-mile in :49 1/5 under jockey Calvin Borel, according to BloodSport.com.  His recorded fractions were :12.80, :25.20, and :37 as he galloped out five-eighths in 1:02.80.

"That was no work for him," Woolley said. "He didn't flare a nostril coming back. Calvin did a great job."

Rachel Alexandra remained the Preakness Stakes favorite at near even odds:  -120.

BloodSport was also reporting that Hull (still listed with odds at SBG Global) will bypass the Preakness Stakes (gr. I) and will run instead in the seven-furlong Woody Stephens Stakes (gr. II) on Belmont day. Also trainer Chip Woolley confirmed that Mike Smith will ride Mine That Bird if Rachel Alexandra runs in the Preakness.
