New John Gotti Mafia Movie to Star John Travolta, Grandson in on Bank Heist
The “Life and Death of John Gotti” Starring John Travolta is set to be released August 25, 2017. John Travolta transformed into the Dapper Don, John Gotti, as he filmed on the streets of Brooklyn, New York.
Never before has there been such an inside look at the life of one of the Gotti family and their world of danger, betrayal and redemption.
Kelly Preston and Stacy Keach, who has become better known as the narrator for “American Greed”, also star in the biopic. Travolta’s real wife plays John Gotti’s wife in the movie.
Much of the film was shot in Cincinnati.
Gotti’s offspring continue to make news of late.
Just last week, Michael Guidici, 22, pleaded guilty in the robbery of the Maspeth Federal Savings and Loan in Queens, New York, where he handed the teller a note reading 'I HAVE A BOMB’. That teller, who turned out to be Gotti’s grandson’s girlfriend, was alleged to have been in on the scheme.
John J. Gotti, taken into custody last August on drug charges, drove his Jaguar as the getaway car in the bank heist.
