'Bitcoin Jesus' Roger Ver Returns to CNBC to Discuss Bitcoin Civil War, More

'Bitcoin Jesus" Roger Ver, CEO of Bitcoin.com, tells CNBC that the recent events involving a bitcoin cash upgrade cannot be considered a fork but rather an "update", one that he views as extremely positive.

Ver, the first bitcoin millionaire, has now shifted alliances and is promoting bitcoin cash full force, claiming that it is what bitcoin was initially intended to be.

"That's what gives bitcoin cash its underlying value as you can use it in commerce to pay for things," he tells CNBC.

He adds: "A lot of these tokens out there are just speculative assets that don't actually have a utility."
