Baltimore Ravens Odds to Win 2010 Super Bowl

The Baltimore Ravens odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl are pretty good yet the value for bettors is even greater.   The Ravens would pay out $2300 for every $100 bet at SBG should they win the 2010 Super Bowl at SBG Global.  Let's face it, they came pretty close to doing just that last year.

The Ravens suddenly have a franchise quarterback in Joe Flacco and one who guided them all the way to the Conference Championship last season despite a tough schedule.  There is little to suggest they can't repeat.  The Ravens this year will play 10 teams that ended the season at .500 or below.

Of course the Baltimore Ravens odds of winning a 2010 Super Bowl is made all the tougher by the fact that they must fight off what should be a healthy New England Patriots team, the reigning Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers and a surging San Diego Chargers team along with a few other strong AFC clubs.

Baltimore wining the AFC North pays $300 for every $100 bet, some great value since the Ravens are capable of battling Pittsburgh (though they went 0-3 against the Steelers last season).   Gambling911.com also likes their chances of winning OVER 9 games during the 2009 regular season at even odds.

This is not to say the Ravens don't have their problems entering the 2009/2010 NFL season.

On defense they lost their coordinator as Rex Ryan was hired away to coach the New York Jets.  Lineback Bart Scott and Jim Leonhard were also shipped off to the Jets.  And there was plenty of upheaval on the secondary with the release of Pro Bowl cornerback Chris McAllister.  All that said, this is still a solid A-/B+ rated defense that can hold its own against most teams.

The Over 9 regular season games has strong value while betting the Ravens to beat the Steelers in the AFC North deserves a close examination due to the decent payout potential.  Betting the Ravens to win the 2010 Super Bowl could prove rewarding, but it's a tough call indeed when one considers their AFC competition.
