The Dallas Cowboys odds of winning anything in 2009 could have been dramatically altered with the news of receiver Roy Williams getting injured.  Initially it was believed to have been a broken collarbone, however, the team confirmed his injury as a contusion of the shoulder.

Cowboys owner Jimmy Jones suggested Williams will be playing in Week 1.

"I'm not implying that we have a long-winded thing here," Jones said during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan.  "Based on our review here, we're talking about a very short time span.  I don't know that he'll go Saturday . . . but he'll be out there real quick."

Williams injured the shoulder when colliding with cornerback Orlando Scandrick while the players were practicing without shoulder pads.

The Cowboys were listed with 12/1 odds of winning the 2o1o Super Bowl and 2/1 of winning the NFC East Division.
