2009 Week 2 College Football betting odds reflected some of the big changes since the lines opened earlier in the week.
Case in point: Stanford vs. Wake Forest opened as a PICK and that line has since moved up to -3 Wake Forest. Granted, most everyone opened this line at -2 with the exception of Bookmaker.com which we suspect got hit hard by wise guys with bets coming in on Wake Forest.
Georgia opened at -8 vs. South Carolina and was now listed with -7 odds across the board.
Missouri opened at -16 ½ and has experienced one of the biggest line moves vs. Bowling Green, jumping all the way up to -20 nearly everywhere.
Kansas State vs. UL Lafayette opened with KS as a -5 road favorite and that line has moved up to -7.
Kansas opened as a -10 favorite against Texas El Paso and it has since moved all the way to -13 at betED.com.
Tulsa opened as a -15 road favorite against New Mexico and the line has hit -18 at the Las Vegas Hilton.
USC opened as a -5 road favorite vs. Ohio State and that line has now hit -7 everywhere.
Oregon opened as a -11 favorite and the line has moved to -13 vs. Oregon.
The most bet on College Football teams heading into Saturday were USC, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Tennessee U.
Notre Dame was a -3 road favorite getting 80 percent of the betting action.
North Carolina was getting 90 percent of the betting action as a -4 ½ road favorite.
Tennessee U at -10 was still getting 80 percent of the betting action.
UCLA beat Tennessee in OT last year by 3 points. The Bruins are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 vs. SEC. UCLA should cover here. The oddsmakers sure think so as they haven't moved the line an inch despite all the heavy betting action coming in on Tennessee.
