There are some restrictions to placing sports bets in the state of New Jersey.  Offshore sportsbooks often provide an alternative when such restrictions arise.

  • As with all US-based sportsbooks, those 21 years or older can place bets.  Offshore books allow individuals 18 and up to place wagers.
  • Betting on games that feature Rutgers or Seton Hall prohibited (offshore books offer alternatives).
  • Betting on New Jersey apps is not permitted outside the state borders, however, registration and payment while in other states is allowed.
  • Some apps and websites do not permit individuals to view lines outside the Garden State.
