With the New England Patriots bouncing back against a solid Atlanta Falcons team at home, their 2010 Super Bowl odds were expected to still be hovering around 4/1 once the latest update takes place this coming Tuesday.

The average payout odds heading into Week 3 were $525 for every $100 bet at online gambling establishments like Sports Interaction.

Following lackluster play the first two weeks including a loss to the Jets last week on the road, New England's odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl were made slightly longer from the 3/1 odds they opened with.

The Patriots held the ball for nearly 40 minutes (39:49) as they won their 16th straight game against NFC teams.

Fred Taylor rushed for 105 yards and a TD, his first 100-yard game since Week 3 of last season. He has three 100-yard rushing games in four career games against the Falcons.

Tom Brady threw for his 200th career touchdown, becoming the 27th player in NFL history with at least that many TDs.

The Patriots (2-1) had plenty of trouble in the red zone where they settled for four field goals by Stephen Gostkowski. Brady completed just 3 of 10 passes inside the Atlanta 20, but Gostkowski connected from 21, 33, 22 and 33 yards.

Despite their odds being made longer, New England remained the favorite to win the 2010 Super Bowl.  A number of teams with single digit odds heading into Week 2 also lost their respective games including San Diego, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
