Odds to win the 2008 AFC North are tight thanks to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns who are practically deadlocked as the favorites to win this division.

Don't look now but many believe that the Cleveland Browns could win the AFC North Division. The Browns had better 2008 payout odds to do so at press time - A $100 bet would pay out $185 at SBG Global compared to even odds for the Steelers. The Cleveland Browns odds to win the 2009 Super Bowl were set at +2600 or a $100 bet would pay out $2600. Their odds to win the AFC Conference were +1500 or 15/1.

But it's those Pittsburgh Steelers that have been perennial favorites to win the Super Bowl year after year (or at least among the top 10 most likely).

The Steelers odds to win the 2009 Super Bowl was listed at +1700 or 17/1 odds for a payout potential of $1700 for every $100 bet. They were listed with +115 odds to win the 2008 AFC North division.

Neither the Bengals nor the Ravens appear to have enough power to make it deep into the Playoffs in 2008 based on odds makers and pundits opinions alike. But nobody thought too highly of those dastardly New York Giants - and now Super Bowl champions - either heading into last season.

The Bengals 2008 AFC North odds were set at +400. The Ravens odds were at +850.
