Many are betting that Jedward's departure from this year's X Factor could see TV ratings plummet to an all time low.

Don't count on it say oddsmakers who have the upcoming week's show a favorite to get between 16,000,001 and 17,000,000 viewers.

An astonishing 15.9 million viewers tuned in to watch Irish twins John and Edward receive their marching orders, almost a million shy of the record 16.6 million that tuned in to watch Lucie Jones get the boot.

Part of Jedward's popularity came from what many believed to be their lack of talent.
