Brian Hastings Wins 6th WSOP Bracelet at $10K Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship

Brian Hastings has now won just shy of $5 million in live career poker tournaments.  He added $292,146 to that total on Friday with a win at the 2022 World Series of Poker Event #31: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship.  Hastings also takes home his 6th WSOP bracelet.

Hastings was the last player standing after he defeated Eric Wasserson in heads-up action.

"It's awesome," said Hastings when asked how the victory felt. "I mean, I really love the World Series every year. It's a lot of fun just trying to compete in all these events against great players; it's an honor to be in that kind of company".

The Fort Lauderdale-based poker pro has appeared in the television show "Poker After Dark" and had once amassed a small fortune in  online cash game sessions against the Swedish poker player Viktor Blom before mostly shifting to live play.

This is Hastings' third cash of the 2022 World Series thus far following money finishes in Event #16: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em and Event #23: $3,000 Limit Hold'em.

Other World Series of Poker results had Nino Ullmann winning Event #33: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em and his very first WSOP Bracelet along with $594,079.

The German player defeated Timothy Flank heads-up in an event that attracted 1,348.

"It was a tougher final table than expected," Ullmann admitted following the win."But I also ran really good. I busted two of the best players on the table!

"It's nice to have them all here for the winner picture, even if during the play it was more distracting than helping me actually, but I'm happy now!"
