Saints vs. Colts Super Bowl Line: Bet Both Sides
While settling down a bit on Friday, the Saints vs. Colts Super Bowl line showed quite a bit of volatility once again on Saturday.
Gambling911.com observed a total of 5 different lines Saturday evening.
Most unusual of all perhaps was SBG Global dropping the Saints vs. Colts Super Bowl line down to Indianapolis -4. That is the lowest we have seen the line yet.
Meanwhile, over at Sportsbetting.com, the line had jumped back up to Colts +6 where it had sat up until late Thursday night.
"Savvy sports bettors will bet both lines (opposite sides) at the two different online sportsbooks," remarked Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.
Both online sportsbooks offered some of the largest cash bonuses in the industry this 2010 Super Bowl season as well.
While the number "5" is rare for score differentials, there are combinations that improve the odds.
For example, a low scoring affair (which this probably will not be) could result in a 17-12 score (two touchdowns + field goal for Team A and four field goals for Team B).
Any successful two point conversion helps improve the odds of the final score differential being 5 points as well.
For example, if a team scores 8 points instead of the usual 7 points we are then looking at the possibility of scores such as 27-22 (4 touchdowns for Team A and 3 touchdowns plus added point for one successful two point conversion for Team B).
Missed field goals (always a possibility) also help improve the odds of a score landing with the 5 point differential.
The Saints vs. Colts Super Bowl line could be bet at Sportsbetting.com for New Orleans +6 and SBG Global Indianapolis -4. Remember also that Sportsbetting.com is offering free $2000 sweepstakes prizes up until Super Bowl.
