Amanda Leatherman No Longer With WPT

Amanda Leatherman will no longer play hostess for the televised event of the WPT tour. This news was released by Poker News Daily. According to a few rumors doing the mill, she will be joining the North American Poker Tour that is organized by PokerStars.

Although these are still rumors and are not confirmed by official sources. However several of the internet forums believe that she is definitely the host of the NAPT, also a "Representative of the tournament series" had confirmed the news about Leatherman's departure. And said the following,

"Amanda is well-known in the industry for her work across a variety of live reporting and poker news outlets she was a great addition to the WPT Live Updates team for two seasons and now she's moving on to her next adventure. We wish her all the best and look forward to seeing her on the poker circuit."

Right now the LA Poker Classic is on at the WPT where the $10,000 Main Event starts off at the Commerce Casino on the 26th of Feb and will end on the 4th of March with the first prize going off on the same day.

Apart from that the Main Event will also hold a $25,000 High Roller event that will take place. These are now even popular with pro players ever since Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier had won a victory amount of half a million, during the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure High Roller tournament.
