Online Poker Traffic Falls Another 2.1 Percent
Online poker has taken yet another dip where "real cash" players are concerned. PokerSiteScout.com reports that the decline was broad, with PokerStars the only gainer among the top 10 as the other nine tracked sites and networks showed a loss for the week.
The biggest mover of the week should be no surprise. Merge Poker managed to jump a spot ahead of Everleaf to number 17 after it began providing for Sportsbook.com players. The new arrangement allowed Merge Poker to double in size.
PacificPoker and Svenska Spel traded places once again in 12th and 13th places, with Svenska Spel pulling ahead this week.
While this week showed a decline from the previous period, online poker traffic is increasing at an annual rate of 13%, according to PokerSiteScout.com.
