We probably won't see any truly "fast" horses during this weekend's Preakness Stakes.  The role of pacesetter was likely to go to Jackson Bend at 11/1 or +1100 odds at SBG Global.

"This race is supposed to fit him more," trainer Nick Zito said. "I'd be over the moon if we inherit the lead."

Jackson Bend was the dominant 2-year-old in Florida last year.  He is trained by two-time Derby-winning Nick Zito (1991 Strike the Gold, 1994 Go For Gin.) Has finished first or second in all nine starts leading up to the Derby.  Jackson Bend finished 12th in the Kentucky Derby where conditions were unfavorable due to heavy rainfall.
