It would be tough to bet on either First Dude or Northern Giants to actually win the Preakness Stakes 2010.  After all, they haven't won much of anything to date.  But how about betting on these two horses to finish last in Saturday's Preakness Stakes race?  That's the bet option being offered by BetUS.com.  You can also get a FREE $75 in CASH when you open an online betting account with $200

Best Horse Racing Bet A:  First Dude +500

First Dude really only has one chance of winning and that's taking the lead and running as fast as he can.  Of course, if he does that, he'll end up packing it in before the 6 furlong mark then back-pedaling his way to last place.  Or, I suppose First Dude could try and track the speed...nah, he's not fast enough early.  No matter how I look at the race, First Dude has a great shot of finishing last in the Preakness Stakes.

Best Horse Racing Bet B:  Northern Giant +450

He lost by 14 ½ lengths to Line of David and Super Saver in the Arkansas Derby in his last race, doesn't appear to have any speed whatsoever and has no business being in this race.  I'm not sure how he's going to run in the Preakness Stakes because he, like First Dude, isn't fast enough to keep up with the pacesetters and he can't close.  So, he runs one-paced through the entire race and ends up getting passed by the legitimate closers.  Yep, sounds like a recipe to finish last to me.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
