FARGO, N.D. (Gambling911.com) - A third suspect has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a private poker game last month in Fargo, North Dakota.
Fahd Laith, 19, of Moorhead, Minnesota (pictured below), has been charged in Cass County District Court with conspiracy to commit robbery involving a firearm, dangerous weapon, or destructive device, a Class B felony. He was arrested and booked into the Cass County Jail and was arraigned Sept. 8.
Jackson James Dubois, 22, and his brother Delton Robledo Dubois, 20, were each charged August 28 in Cass County District Court with robbery involving a firearm, dangerous weapon, or destructive device, a Class B felony. Both were arrested three days later and remain on the Cass County Jail roster.
According to a police charging document, three men wearing dark clothing and ski masks entered a building on Northern Pacific Avenue on August 28, during an invite-only poker game.
One of the six men held at gunpoint told police the weapon was placed against the back of his head. The group was ordered to the ground and robbed of their wallets, cell phones, and cash from the table, totaling an estimated $2,500.
Investigators identified a suspect vehicle, a black pickup truck with distinctive chrome trim, using nearby private security and traffic camera footage. The truck was linked to Delton Dubois.
Witnesses also implicated a former poker dealer who had been fired for intoxication. They claimed the individual had brought one of the brothers to a prior game. Investigators found text messages between one of the brothers and the former dealer discussing “making money” days before the robbery, along with additional messages allegedly discussing the plan.

Investigators say Laith was the third man who entered the building that night. According to the court documents, Laith told police he was picked up by Jackson and Delton Dubois and was asked if he wanted to “make a quick dollar.” He said the three discussed the robbery in the car, and that Jackson directed him where to go inside the building and which money container to take while Delton drove.
Laith told investigators he did not know who had a gun and did not carry one himself, according to the document. He said he wore a ski mask and carried it in a garbage bag, and that he was paid $300 in $50 bills afterward. He said the group later threw the empty money container in a dumpster and tossed the stolen phones out of the car window while driving, according to the court documents.
While the two brothers are still in custody, court records indicate Laith was released on bond Sept. 8 under an order prohibiting contact with the alleged victims. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 9, with a felony dispositional conference set for Nov. 25.
Laith is being represented by a public defender.
