One of poker's biggest superstars continues to make headway, winning his eighth career World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.  Ivey accomplished this feat in the $3,000 HORSE event, beating out Bill Chen.

From Cake Poker:  "With this win, Phil Ivey's eight career WSOP bracelets ties him with Erik Seidel for fifth all-time. The $329,840 first prize won't mean a lot, since it almost surely pales in comparison to the money he's won in prop bets from Tom Dwan and other poker pros. Chen, meanwhile, settles for second place and $203,802."

It is that other "Phil" that has more WSOP bracelets than any other poker player, Phil Hellmuth.  He has a record 11 World Series of Poker bracelets.
