2010 WSOP Update: Cole South Among Top Chip Leaders

Internet poker phenom Cole South sat among the top 10 chip leaders at the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event.  With plenty of days left to go and dramatic changes likely, South may have a tough time holding on but his early performance is impressive nonetheless. 

In live career tournaments, South is listed as having won a mere $40,000 and some change.  Online is an entirely different story with Cole South chomping away at millions of dollars.

South is one of the most renowned online players today. He is know for his hyper-aggressive, creative style.

Another big name online poker player, Tom "Durrrr" Dwan, bowed out of the 2010 WSOP after only one day.

Dwan lost millions in side prop bets (reportedly $4 million against Phil Ivey alone) related to whether he would win any bracelets at this year's World Series of Poker.

Leading the pack heading into Saturday was Boulos Estafanous, who has amassed over $200,000 in career live poker tournament winnings.   

Matt Savage, Gabe Kaplan (of Welcome Back Kotter fame), Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Sexton and Tiffany Michelle were among the more notable eliminations in the past 48 hours.
