Well we are down to the remaining 27 players heading into Saturday, all of whom will cash out nicely. Come early Sunday morning we will learn which of these 27 players end up among the 9 finalists to play in November at the 2010 World Series of Poker final table.
The early Saturday eliminations included Johnny Lodden of Norway in 27th place, Matthew Bucaric in 26th, Mads Wissing of Denmark in 25th and Ronnie Bardah in 24th. Bardah takes home $317,161.

Let’s take a look the top 5 chip leaders coming into Saturday.
The top spot once again belonged to Joseph Cheong of La Mirada, California, who may not be very well known but he certainly provided a great deal of excitement on Friday with his huge fall from the top and subsequent rebound. Cheong for a while looked as if he would be eliminated.
The number two chip leader was Cuong Nguyen out of Santa Ana, California. His live poker playing history is limited. Poker News Daily writes of Nguyen’s playing style: “Throughout the tournament, Nguyen built his stack through a number of aggressive big-stack plays, putting pressure on his opponents.”
Pascal LeFrancois of Rosemere, Quebec, Canada was the 3rd chip leader. His winnings to date in live tournaments were just over $500,000, and really from only one recent WSOP event. LeFrancois’s biggest win came this year at Event #8 - WSOP No Limit Hold'emwhere he took home $568,974 and a bracelet. He is certainly someone to keep a close eye on.
A relative unknown from Minnesota, Jason Senti, was in 4th place on the 2010 WSOP leaderboard coming into Saturday.
Canadian Matthew Jarvis was the 5th biggest chip leader. The British Columbia native’s highest finish to date in a live poker tournament was in 2008 at the Pacific Poker Shootout, where he came in 3rd place.
