Known for his former partnership role at Casino Affiliate Programs (CAP), Lou “The Professor” Fabiano has passed away.  Gambling911.com has enjoyed a long and prosperous relationship with “The Professor”.  Fabiano passed away from heart failure.

Gambling911.com Special Contributor and Head of Media Man Australia Writes:

"’The Professor’ has left the building. It was a career the spanned the good, the bad and most assuredly the ugly, of the gaming and igaming world.  He helped change the face of the industry, but sometimes it sure wasn't pretty to watch. Insiders tip that CAP was never the same after he left, but some say that was a good thing.  Questions arose from time to time as to the money flow of CAP, and industry insiders remain curious of the real books of CAP, despite no Professor. RIP Professor and may you have fun at the big Casino In The Sky (or Casino in Hell), wherever you have found your new postcode.”

Fabiano parted ways with CAP last year in what was a tumultuous departure.  He was always known as an “astute” businessman despite the breakup, which left Fabiano starting his own ventures.

GPWA writes:

He fought hard to make our industry better for webmasters -- big and small. He helped many affiliates get their start in the business. And here at the GPWA -- and at Casino Affiliate Programs, which he founded -- he will be missed. Many have already posted their memories of Lou, and condolences for his family in this thread.

Gambling911.com Senior Editor Payton O’Brien commented:  “We always had a great relationship with Lou and attended many of his events.  He will truly be missed and our condolences go out to his family, whom we also got to know during various functions.”
