California Berkley law students Eric Cuellar and Justin Teixeira, both 24, have been charged with beheading an exotic bird at the famed Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas.

Video surveillance captured the two crazed individuals cornering then decapitating the rare helmeted guinea fowl at the Casino’s wildlife habitat on the Strip.  It was not immediately clear if the men were under the influence of any substances such as alcohol or bath salts.

“Arriving officers learned that two males were witnessed throwing the dead bird, discussing the killing of the bird and laughing about it,” according to a news release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

“They each face felony charges of conspiracy and willful malicious torture/killing of wildlife,” according to the release.

Both men will have a difficult time practicing law in the US should the felony charges stick.
