The Texas Dolly, Doyle Brunson, blasted fellow poker pro Phil Hellmuth this week following the Poker Brat's over-the-top entrance as a Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) fighter. Hellmuth is known for his grand entrances including last year's portrayal as Julius Caesar.
"I'm glad I'm not playing today so I won't see Hellmuth make a fool out of himself with his entrance. I can't help thinking it's terrible," Brunson tweeted the day of Hellmuth's arrival.
Brunson added later on: "Got scolded by PH for my last tweet. Sorry Phil, but I got 103 responses. 99 agreed with me, 4 didn't. I love you anyway, good luck in the WSOP."
Hellmuth, the WSOP record bracelet holder, was eliminated within hours.
Brunson was among the top 100 chip leaders Saturday afternoon and was playing with bad gums.
