The world's second largest online poker room, Full Tilt Poker, appears to have hit its peak at just shy of 20,000 "real cash" players on average at the start of the year.  In recent weeks, Full Tilt has been dipping down to its previous average of 15,000 "real cash players" based on information contained at the PokerSiteScout.com website.

Trending at PokerStars.com, the world's leading online poker room in terms of "real cash" players, has been upwards over the last 6 months with no sign of decline.  In fact, PokerStars.com has managed to go from 25,000 average "real cash" players to 35,000 average "real cash" players over that time period.

Both sites continue to excel over their closest competition.

PartyGaming.com, for example, is the 3rd largest online poker network and is averaging 10,000 fewer players than Full Tilt.

Party's numbers have flat lined.

iPoker.com, at number 4, is losing market share, dropping from an average of 5500 6 months ago to 4700 this past week.

The Ongame Network, at number 5, has managed to hold steady just shy of 3000.

International, which is Boss Media's online poker room, has crept up from around 1700 average "real cash" players to 2600 over the past 6 months, securing a number 6 spot on the chart.

The number 6 spot is precarious to say the least as both Everest and Cereus are right within striking distance.

Everest has moved up a few hundred in recent months.  Cereus is up and down within the 2200 to 2800 range.

Microgaming at number 9 seems to be experiencing only nominal growth, if you can call it that and Cereus is likely to ward them off over the next month at least based on Gambling911.com observations.

Cake Poker is likely to take over Microgaming's spot within the next one to two months with an increase of 500 "real cash" players on average since September.

Entraction, which on Monday was reviewed by Gambling911.com, has also experienced similar growth as Cake over the past 6 months, but holds the 11th position.
