The NBC Heads-Up Poker Elite Eight Sunday schedule was released in the morning.

In the Hearts and Diamonds brackets: Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time, defeating Annette Obrestad. Meanwhile, 2007 World Series Main Event champ Jerry Yang also moved on, defeating Barry Greenstein.

Dennis Phillips defeated Eli Elezra to join the final eight and Annie Duke dropped Paul Wasicka.
