PA Poker Rooms Rake in $4.9 Million in August
September 26, 2016 – Pennsylvania poker rooms took in a whopping $4.9 million during the month of August according to the state Gaming Control Board. There are ten poker rooms with 226 tables located throughout the state with Parx and its 46 tables taking in $1.5 million in revenue alone, leading the pack. $58.4 million in poker revenue has been generated during the 2015/16 fiscal year ending in June, up from $56.5 million the period prior. The state is currently considering legalizing online poker as part of the year’s final legislative session.
