The PCA10 $25,000 High Roller kicked off yesterday with nearly 200 entries (157 players and 41 re-entries) - well above last year’s field of 148. Players have until start of play today (at noon) to enter or re-enter so the number could grow even more. At present, 79 players are coming back for Day 2.

After 11 levels of play yesterday, Russian player Vladimir Troyanovskiy, who finished seventh in the $100k Super High Roller at the start of the PCA10 festival for $257,580, emerged as the chip leader with a stack of 349,000. Mike Watson is currently second with 282,300 and Micah Raskin, who came sixth at EPT Sanremo in October for €132,000, is currently fifth with €132,000.

Team PokerStars Pros Vanessa Selbst, Jonathan Duhamel, Jason Mercier and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier plus PokerStars Team Online’s Isaac Haxton and
Mickey Petersen are all still in.

Poker legend Phil Hellmuth, who allegedly spent yesterday playing Open Face Chinese in his room, is one of the players who plans to enter the event for the first time today. He tweeted: "Time to rest, rest, rest and then buy into $25K High Roller at the beginning of Day 2 tomorrow. I need to MAN UP and bring my best game!"
