Danish poker player, Theo Jorgensen, walked away with his WSOP first bracelet and GBP 218,626 ($400,000 USD). Jorgensen's total career tournament winnings so far amount to just under $1.2 million. He has made two European Poker Tour final tables.

In 2004, Jørgensen won the European Seven-card stud championship in Baden, taking home the €101,688 first prize.

In 2006, Jørgensen made his first European Poker Tour (EPT) final table, finishing 4th in the second season event in Deauville won by Mats Iremark.

In 2007, Jørgensen made the final table of the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event, finishing 8th, held in London that was won by 18 year old Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad.

The final table results were as follows:

1st -- Theo Jorgensen -- GBP 218,626

2nd -- Sorel Mizzi -- GBP 132,000

3rd -- Eric Dalby -- GBP 84,562

4th -- Erik Friberg -- GBP 66,000

5th -- Max Pescatori -- GBP 51,562

6th -- David Penly -- GBP 41,250

7th -- Chris "Jesus" Ferguson -- GBP 33,000

8th -- Jason Mercier -- GBP 26,812

9th -- Tomi Nyback -- GBP 22,688

Perhaps the most known of the bunch was Chris Ferguson, who already has 5 World Series of Poker bracelets and total live tournament cash winnings of $7,044,377. Ferbuson's ambitions in life outside of winning a World Series of Poker main event would be to become a Professor of Game Theory at a major University.
