UB.com’s Scott Ian Steps Up to Host the UBOC6 NLH $100K GTD Rock Star Bounty

UB’S Online Poker Championship Series, offering over $5 Million in guaranteed tournament money and competition prizes, continued on Monday, January 17^th with Events 4 & 5of the UBOC6 tournament schedule’s 29 events. 

Last night it was UBOC Event # 5, the NHL $100K GTD $200 Rock Star Bounty that was creating a buzz at the UB tables. Team UB’s SCOTT IAN anda few of his rock star buddies swapped the performance arena for centre stage in UB’s poker room during the 20:05 ET tourney. 615 online poker players turned up to the $200+15 buy-in Bounty event for a shot at parking themselves next to rocker royalty, each of them keen to take home their own famous ‘scalp’.

SCOTT IAN (Anthrax),JERRY CANTRELL (Alice in Chains),KIRK “KIRKHAMM666” HAMMETT (Metallica),GREG TRIBBETT (Mudvayne), and Shanna “SHANNAXOXO” Moakler (current host of E!’s Bridalplasty and former Playboy Playmate) showed their best hands in last night’s $100K GTD, but failed to get anywhere near the money. What they did do well was provide five other online players with the bragging rights, and the $200 reward that came along with sending each of these rock stars ‘head banging’ their way to the rails.

It took over 8.5 hours and some back and forth play Heads Up between PD188 and FINEIRISHLAD beforea deal was agreed upon, with the chop awarding $24,000 and $21,047 respectively, leaving $2,000 aside for the winner. In the end, it was FINEIRISHLAD who stole the limelight and the extra $2K, when histhree of a kind – 10d in his hand and 10h-10s on the board – held up against PD188’s pair of tens on the board, to take down the star-studded UBOC Event and the UBOC Limited Edition Watch.
