Man Gets Piece of Bad Beat Jackpot for Third Time in 3 Months

Americas Cardroom player Word Son has gotten a piece of that online poker room’s Bad Beat Jackpot for a third time in as little as 3 months.

It happened again on Monday (February 6, 2012) when he walked away with $14605.59, finishing with the 5th best cashout.

In December Word Son got a piece of the BBJ twice, once for $37,224.26 and another time for $8,089.57.

“It’s remarkable,” noted Americas Cardroom Spokesperson, Julius Maxwell.  “I’ve never seen anything like this in all my years working here.”

Word Son didn’t win on Monday.  That honor goes to Poobah911 who walked away with $175232.10.

The Americas Cardroom Bad Beat Jackpot is one of the most active on the Net today.

A Bad Beat Jackpot is a prize that is paid when a sufficiently strong hand is shown down and loses to an even stronger hand held by another player.
