By 8 pm PST we were winding down to 104 players in the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP). Some big names were still hovering around the top 20 leader board.

Denmark’s Theo Jorgensen has been a regular fixture among the top 10 these past few days. Jorgensen is one of the best known Danes on the circuit today and has amassed nearly $2.2 million in live tournament career wins.

Michael Mizrachi owed $340,000 in taxes and recently foreclosed on his Hollywood, Florida home. Like his brother Robert, Mizrachi has enjoyed huge success on the poker circuit in recent months despite the setbacks.

The guy won over a million dollars at the Event #2 - WSOP PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP, enough to pay off those pesky taxes and then some. He’s taken home another $100,000 since.

Matt Afleck is someone to keep an eye on being that he cashed out in 80th place at last year’s WSOP. It appears likely he will improve on those results this year. Two years straight Afleck has found himself atop the leader board at one point during the main event.
