JD Vance traveled to Budapest this week, hoping to sway Hungary's General Election where long-serving Prime Minister Viktor Orban is an underdog in the race.

Those efforts may have helped seal the deal for Peter Magyar, who now comes in as the -250 favorite.

Orban is a close Donald Trump ally and cornerstone of the president's vision for Europe, but is trailing in the polls and among the odds.

BetOnline.ag lists Orban as a nearly 2/1 underdog, putting his chances of victory at just 35 percent.

Speaking at a press conference in Hungary's capital, Budapest, on Wednesday, Vance said he would help the incumbent prime minister in his election campaign and praised Orbán ahead of the April 12 poll.

Since that time, Orban's odds have diminished at gambling websites like BetOnline, though it is unclear what role, if any, Vance played in this odds shift.

Odds will be updated in real-time leading up to Sunday's election and are subject to change if not locked in.

2026 Hungary General Election

Peter Magyar -250

Viktor Orban +185
