You can bet the Tigers-Nationals series for Wednesday with two hot pitchers coming off of losses.
The OVER is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams with the home team winning the last eight in the series. Keep in mind these stats go back to 2010.
Go against the above trend here. Jordan Zimmermann comes into this one 5-1 with a 1.10 ERA and has allowed an impressive 25 hits off of 84 at bats against the current Nationals roster.
Zimmermann has been hit hard over the years by Daniel Murphy, who is 20-for-64 hits against the opposing Tigers starter with five home runs. Murphy is an excellent Daily Fantasy Baseball pick today with a sizzling performance of late.
