Belmont Stakes odds for Overanalyze, Midnight Taboo and Will Take Charge were available at Ace Sportsbook here.

Overanalyze was coming in at 12-1 odds Saturday morning.

Nick Horvath of PennLive.com calls the Belmont Stakes a “jockey’s race” and notes that Overanalyze, along with a few other entries, have a strong advantage:

Jockeys who ride regularly at Belmont have a distinct advantage. Those unfamiliar with the circumference often have a tendency to move their horses too soon.

Said trainer D. Wayne Lukas years ago about Belmont: “Jockeys in the Belmont have to wait, wait, then wait some more before asking their horses. At places where you would usually make a move, don’t.’’

Give extra credit to regular Belmont Park jockeys Joel Rosario (Orb), Alan Garcia (Frac Daddy), John Velazquez (Overanalyze), Edgar Prado (Giant Finish), Javier Castellano (Revolutionary), Irad Ortiz Jr. (Incognito) and Luis Saez (Freedom Child).

Then trust that pros Gary Stevens (Oxbow), Garrett Gomez (Midnight Taboo) and Mike Smith (Palace Malice) know more than enough about the trickery that Belmont’s track represents.

And that looks like Overanalyze, piloted by Velazquez and a juicy 12-1 on the morning line.

Trained by Pletcher, Overanalyze has the tactical speed to stalk the early leaders and get first run on the stretch-runners like Orb, Revolutionary and Golden Soul turning for home.

Midnight Taboo, meanwhile, is getting some love heading into Saturday’s race…not from oddsmakers though where he is listed at 30-1 odds.  Midnight Taboo is well rested and his pedigree suggests he can race long distances.

Will Take Charge was coming in at 20-1 odds.
