Last night, Gambling911.com suggested middling the Orlando Magic vs. Los Angeles Clippers game with a Magic win of 4 or 5 points paying out at books that offered two different lines (Orlando -3 ½ and LA +5 ½).  Tonight we have a tired Orlando team coming into Portland.

In recent years the Trailblazers have been flaming out but not so this season.

This team is smokin' now, having won 8 of their last 10 but more impressively winning 4 of their last 5 games on the East Coast.  The only game they lost was in Boston.  Portland even managed to beat Detroit.

Not to be outdone, Orlando has won 8 of its last 10 as well.  But most of those wins were to subpar teams while the two losses were to Houston and Boston, respectively.  In fact, the Magic are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Orlando began its West Coast swing playing the Los Angeles Clippers last night.

Do they have the energy to cover a +5 ½ spread against these surging Portland Trailblazers?  Gambling911.com says "doubtful".

Sure Orlando has had success in Portland over recent years but consider that the Trailblazers were +7 home underdogs last time and you quickly understand why this is not the same scenario.

The Blazers now return to the Rose Garden, where they are 7-0 -- their best start since winning the first nine home games of the lockout-shortened 1998-99 season.

Gambling911.com says go with the Portland Trailblazers and the -5 ½ line found at Bookmaker.com
