In all honesty, do you really think a team, who has lost 10 games in a row, playing the Lakers at the Staples Center in the playoffs has a fighting chance?  The reason the Jazz are pretenders in the NBA, just like any other team in the NBA who fail in the post season, is the fact they have not and cannot win on the road.  LA is the best team right now in the NBA, maybe arguable with Cleveland, but no doubt the beat in the West.

LA covered in game 1 despite getting hammered on the offensive glass and getting outscored in the second half, something Phil Jackson will no doubt use as a tool to motivate the Lakers team to play at a higher level.  When you simply go through the motions in game 1 of a series and still blowout your opponent, that is a scary thought for the Jazz who simply are lifeless on the road this season and no doubt will face a Lakers team who is 35-7 SU at home and focused on playing better in this game.
