Kimbo Slice takes on Ken Shamrock and a much anticipated Mixed Martial Arts event courtesy of CBS' "Saturday Night Fights". The best odds on Slice were found at Sportsbook.com where he was listed as a -325 favorite.

Since returning to mixed martial arts after a couple of stints in pro wrestling, Shamrock's record hasn't been glittering, according to Beau Dure of USA Today.

He's lost all three bouts of a venomous rivalry with Tito Ortiz and suffering a first-round knockout loss to unheralded Robert Berry earlier this year.

Ken Shamrock fought at UFC 1 in 1993. A few months earlier, he had fought in the debut of Japanese promotion Pancrase. At 44, he's using some old-school trash talk against Slice leading up to their EliteXC bout Saturday (CBS, 9 p.m. ET).

The best odds on Shamrock can be found at Bookmaker.com, for a payout potential of $310 for every $100 bet.

Slice nearly lost his debut fight on CBS a few months back. Kimbo Slice survived a major scare against James Thompson back in May.

What happens if Kimbo loses to Shamrock this Saturday on CBS?, asks Sherdog Sports.

In fairness to Slice and this new territory his popularity has created, nothing is certain. Slice, like Chuck Liddell following his devastating loss to Rashad Evans at UFC 88, could be forgiven by fans and pundits alike. Many could extend to Slice the common MMA courtesy: Losing is part of the game and happens to the best of them; Slice is no different.

All things being equal, however, that isn't likely to happen. Unlike Slice, Liddell's popularity and image is partly tied to the healthy organizational juggernaut that is the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Jon Rahm was going for his third major win at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played great, proving he’s ready to be a top golfer again. After some ups and downs since joining LIV Golf in late 2023, Rahm shot an impressive 4-under 67 in the third round on Saturday. This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.
